Adult League Play

Men's League comprises of a maximum of 18 teams of 8 men per team with additional spares. The teams are sponsored by local businesses. The format is a shotgun start, 9 hole match play tournament played each Wednesday evening over a 19 week period with one point being awarded for each hole won and one half point for each hole tied. The total points made each week determines each tams place on the ladder. At the end of the 19 weeks, the top 16 teams play a knockout playoff over 2 weeks to decide the overall winner. Ladies League is played on Tuesday evenings. It is intended to be a social night, encouraging golfers of all levels to participate. The League is unique in that it is open to members of the Club and non-members. Weekly play begins the first week of May and runs until the end of August. A Round Robin schedule is developed at the beginning of the year and teams play a Stableford format. At the end of the year, prizes are given out to the first three teams who accumulated the most points throughhout the year. Weekly prizes are awarded for Low Net, Low Gross, Closest to the Pin and the player with the most points. For more details contact Susan Penrose.

Mixed Seniors League is on Tuesday mornings starting at 8:00 am, and is comprised of club members 50 years of age and older, who wish to play in a friendly 18 hole - stroke play match. The cost is $20 to join and it covers the cost of prizes. Contact the proshop for details.

Ladies Thursday Morning League comprises of lay club members who wish to play a friendly game starting at 8:00 am. Cost is $2 per week. Sign up on the sheet in the Ladies Locker Room before noon each Monday. The draw is made at lunchtime Monday. For more details contact the ProShop.
